You don't have to be flexible to do yoga. You don't have to be a dancer, or know how to move "correctly," to do Joyflow®. You just need a body, and a little space to listen to it.
Both come back to the same thing: breathe, connect your movement to your breath, and remember what it feels like to be in your own body instead of someone else's needs.
Yoga
Yoga is how I build strength and functional flexibility. But it's more than that. It's how I meet myself on the mat emotionally, not just physically. No advanced poses required. No "full expression" of a pose required.
I teach slow flow, so there's room to breathe between movements, not rush from one pose to the next.
Breathe. Connect your movement to your breath. Remember what it feels like to be in your own body.

Joyflow®
Joyflow® is a mindful-movement method to connect with your body and feel free. This low-impact, music-driven experience blends gentle movement, creative exploration, somatic release, and non-choreographed dance to guide you to pure joy and deep rest. Come as you are, no experience needed.
Joyflow found me around the same time yoga did. It taught me to move in ways that felt right for me, whatever the day called for, and gave me the freedom to express the highs and lows, in public and in private. (You can often find me dancing in grocery store aisles.) More than that, it taught me to notice my body and live at peace with it.
Not sure what Joyflow® actually feels like?
This is the easiest way to find out. Fifty minutes of gentle movement, music, and permission to just be in your body. No steps to memorize, no mirror to check yourself in, nothing to get right.

Bring Yoga or Joyflow® to Your Space
I love bringing these practices into communities, retreats, workplaces, and small groups, shaped around what your people actually need.
If you're picturing this for your group, let's talk about it.

Meet Your Guide
I first developed a consistent yoga practice in the spring of 2020, while navigating divorce and beginning life as a single mom of six. Yoga held me when no one else could. The mat became my sanctuary, a safe place to be, feel, and move my body.
Joyflow found me around the same time. My daily practice, in both, connected me not only to my body, but to my inner person. Each practice brought relief, rest, grounding, and sometimes tears. Yoga and Joyflow became two of the tools in my healing and re-becoming.
In the summer of 2025, I heard myself telling a friend, "I think I need to become a certified yoga teacher." I knew, deep down, that this work was for me. I completed my 200-hour certification at Medfield Yoga, where I also teach. I bring my poetry into every yoga class I teach.
I'm also honored to be the second certified Joyflow instructor in the world, and I'm excited to bring both practices to my students, creating a space to slow down, connect to their bodies, and hear their own voice.
